Intelligence media company, Isentia said, captured hundreds of thousands of discussions related to tourism and year-end holidays on social media in the past month.

As of October 1-November 8, 2019 there were 139,438 buzz questions on the topic on social media. 

"Based on the volume of this conversation, we see that the public is very enthusiastic about discussing the holiday and destination that they want to go to before the end of the year coming soon," explained Rendy Ezra, Insights Manager from Isentia Indonesia

For the year-end holiday, Isentia found Jogja to be the most discussed city, with as many as 40,988 buzz, followed by Bali 37,797 buzz.

Furthermore, there are East Java with 20,146 buzz, Central Java 16,143 buzz, North Sumatra 6,558 buzz, Southeast Sulawesi 4,661 buzz, South Sulawesi 3,996 buzz, and West Papua in 9,149 buzz conversation in social media.

In addition, there were also the three most hits destinations discussed, namely Raja Ampat with 6,172 buzz, Lombok and Borobudur Temple, 4,387 buzz and 1,647 buzz respectively.

Regarding the holiday itself, netizens also discussed the transportation that they want to use on vacation. 

The car became the most talked about transportation in 334,295 buzz.
