Previously, news got out through the WhatsApp message broadcast stating that Kadinsos, Hasyimah, who is also the wife of a member of Indonesian Parliament, Nyat Kadir, is exposed to Covid-19.
This news has been confirmed by Head of Batam City Health Department, Didi Kusmardjadi.
Although the information obtained is not yet open, it is suspected that Hasyimah is a patient with case number 835.
"Yes," Didi replied briefly when confirmed, on Thursday (10/9/2020).
In the release of Batam City Covid-19 Task Force Team, case 835 with the initials Mrs. H (57) lives in the Tiban I Housing Area, Patam Lestari Village, Sekupang.
The person concerned had checked herself with a PCR test whose results were known to be positive for Covid-19.
Currently, the person concerned is being treated at Embung Fatimah Regional Hospital without symptoms.
Meanwhile, Didi Kusmardjadi has not been able to provide information on the close contact history of the patient.
The circulation of WhatsApp message linking to one of the cafes in Batam Center, according to Didi, was the act of an irresponsible person.
"That's the version of irresponsible people," said Didi.
Until now, Batam City Health Office has no plans to carry out tracing the location of the cafe which is allegedly owned by Batam City Head of Social Department, Hasyimah. (TRIBUNBATAM.id/Hening Sekar Utami)
