Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the export of the village's produce to Japan.
The export plan to Japan had to be postponed.
"The plan is to send it to Japan. Seeing conditions like this, it is now postponed," said Rinto, Friday (30/10/2020).
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, residents could send up to 100 kilograms of anchovies.
Seeing the rapid development of this anchovies center, the plan is that the center, which is managed by more than 50 fishermen group members, will build a new center.
However, since this outbreak, their turnover has decreased by 70 percent.
"This year we only send products to a few places, even then those who have placed orders," he said. (TribunBatam.id/Rahma Tika)
