TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Covid-19 pandemic in Batam still shows the addition of new cases.
Covid-19 case in Batam is increasingly worrying.
The capacity of a number of referral hospitals for Covid-19 cases in Batam is reportedly starting to be full, while the number of Covid-19 patients in Batam has continued to increase.
Finally, to overcome the problem of a shortage of isolation places, Batam city government decided to use Health Training Center (Bapelkes) as a location for isolating Covid-19 patients.
Until now, Saturday (31/10/2020) there have been as many as 100 Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment at Bapelkes Batam City which is on Jalan Marina Raya, Tanjunguncang Village, Batuaji District, Batam City, Riau Islands Province.
On Friday (10/30/2020), as many as 50 patients were sent by the Covid-19 task force team, patients arrived late at night.

Meanwhile today, namely Saturday (31/10/2020) the task force team again sent 49 Covid-19 patients at noon.
"Patients are sent gradually," said Asep Zaenal Mustofa, Head of Bapelkes Batam, Saturday (31/10/2020).
The sending of Covid-19 patients to be treated at Marina Health Training Center (Bapelkes), Batam City, Riau Islands Province, was carried out in stages.
Asep said, Covid-19 patients were treated in one of the buildings in Bapelkes.
"The place for treating patients is in Riau building, with a capacity of 140 beds," said Asep.
He said that he had not yet received information for today whether there were still additional Covid-19 patients.
"Only 49 have just entered, don't know later whether there are any more that will be sent to Bapelkes," said Asep. (TribunBatam.id)
