TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government updated the information on the development of the daily Covid-19 case on Wednesday (9/12/2020).
Based on data shared by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Wednesday afternoon, there were 6,058 new cases of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19.
The data is calculated until 12.00 WIB on Wednesday afternoon. So, accumulatively there are 592,900 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.
The number of additions was obtained from the results of examining 56,034 specimens in the last 24 hours.
Based on this data, new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are spread across 33 provinces.
Meanwhile, one province that was observed did not experience the addition of new cases, namely North Maluku.
In the same data, there were five provinces with the highest addition of new cases. The five provinces are DKI Jakarta (1,217 new cases), West Java (908 new cases).
Then, Central Java (735 new cases), East Java (718 new cases) and East Kalimantan (279 new cases).
Meanwhile, the overall transmission of Covid-19 so far occurred in 510 districts / cities in 34 provinces.
The government also noted that an additional 3,948 patients have been declared cured.
