5 Foreign Ship Thieves Fish in Indonesian Waters Sunk on Abang Island

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Five foreign fishing vessels (KIA), respectively from Vietnam and Malaysia, which carried out illegal fishing in the waters of the Riau Islands (Kepri) were drowned.

The five KIAs consist of four KIA from Vietnam and one KIA from Malaysia.

This ship was a handling case of the Karimun District Attorney (Kejari) and was sunk directly by the Riau Islands High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) and witnessed by the Karimun Prosecutor's Office and Batam PSDKP. 

The drowning, which was carried out on Monday evening yesterday, in the waters of Abang Island, was carried out because the verdict had permanent legal force. 

The head of the Riau Islands Prosecutor's Department, Hari Setiyono, after pressing the siren button yesterday evening said that the five ships that were sunk were KG 94094 TS with the convict Ngo Van Dung based on the decision of the Tanjungpinag PN Fisheries Court No. 27 / Pid.Sus-PRK / 2020 / PN.TPG dated 02 September 2020.

Then, KG f90746 TS with the convicted person Nguyen Van Quyen based on the decision of the Tanjungpinang PN Fisheries Court No.26 / Pid.Sus-PRK / 2020 / PN.Tpg dated 02 September 2020.

KM PKFA 8777 with the convict Yelwin Oo based on the decision of the Tanjungpinang PN Fisheries Court No.23 / Pid.Sus-PRK / 2020 / PN.Tpg dated 02 September 2020. 

KG 95551 TS with the convict Le Thanh Sang based on the decision of the Tanjungpinang PN Fisheries Court No.25 / Pid.Sus-PRK / 2020 / PN.Tpg dated 03 September 2020. 

The last, KG 85572 TS with the convicted person Nguyen Huu Phuoc based on the decision of the Tanjungpinang PN Fisheries Court No.24 / Pid.Sus-PRK / 2020 / PN.Tpg dated September 3, 2020, when the verdict was that the fishing boat was destroyed by drowning, "said Hari Setiyono (*)
