The Unit Manager for Communication Relations and CSR MOR 1, Taufikurachman said that his party had formed a Task Force team (Satgas) which was on duty from December 7, 2020 to January 10, 2021.
The Task Force team is tasked with monitoring the distribution of BBM and LPG running smoothly.
"During the Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021 holidays, the Task Force team will be on duty to monitor the distribution of BBM and LPG to keep it smooth," said Taufik in a written statement, Thursday (31/12/2020).
He explained Pertamina's efforts in securing fuel and LPG supplies, namely by increasing fuel and LPG stocks, adding tank cars, and others.
He predicts that consumption of gasoline (Premium, Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo) will increase by 10 percent during Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021. For normal daily consumption, namely 992.36 Kilo Liters (KL) to 1,091.6 KL.
He explained, during Christmas and this New Year, subsidized LPG consumption is also estimated to increase by 4 percent, with normal daily consumption, namely 179 metric tons (MT) to 186 MT, while non-subsidized LPG is predicted to increase by 4 percent, namely from normal daily consumption, the amount of 48.3 MT to 50.2 MT.
On the other hand, Taufikurachman stated, recently, his party had carried out the initial operational test of one price fuel gas station at two gas stations, namely 16,297,701 petrol stations in Subi Besar Village Area, Subi District, Natuna Regency and 16,297,031 gas stations in Midai District, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands.
At the gas station in Subi Village, 14 KL (Kiloliter) of Premium and Solar products were distributed as much as 15 KL, while the SPBU in Midai District has also distributed Premium as much as 10 KL and 15 KL of diesel fuel.
With this one-price fuel distribution agency, people can access BBM more easily. The price is the same as in other regions, namely Premium worth IDR 6,450 per liter and diesel worth IDR 5,150 per liter. (*)
