TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of patients infected with Covid-19 in Indonesia still continue to grow in early 2021.
Based on data compiled by the government, until Friday (8/1/2021) there were 10,617 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This is a record for new cases of Covid-19 during the pandemic in Indonesia.
This addition has led to the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia now reaching 808,340, as of the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through data on Friday afternoon.
Data can also be accessed by the public via the Covid19.go.id and Kemkes.go.id sites, with updates appearing every afternoon.
Despite the addition of new positive cases of Covid-19, the government also reported that there were additional patients recovering from Covid-19.
In the same data, there were an additional 7,446 Covid-19 patients who recovered from the coronavirus. (*)
