TRIBUNBATAM.id - Even a year, the Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia. However, the number of people infected with Covid-19 is still growing.

Based on data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force from Monday (8/3/2021) to Tuesday (9/3/2021) there were an additional 6,389 positive Covid-19 patients. 

Thus, the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia has now reached 1,392,945 people since the first case was announced on March 2 last year. 

This information was conveyed by the task force to reporters on Tuesday afternoon. Data can also be accessed through www.covid19.go.id which is always updated every afternoon.

As a whole, the government has examined 11,266,592 Covid-19 specimens out of 7,505,179 people.

This number was obtained after the addition of the number of specimens examined since March 8-9 by 67,854 from 43,966 people. 

However, provided that one person can be examined the specimen more than once. 

The spread of Covid-19 as a whole to date has occurred in 510 districts/cities in 34 provinces. (*)
