TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government shows that coronavirus transmission still occurs in the community until Saturday, (10/4/2021).
This can be seen with the increasing number of new Covid-19 cases, based on data that arrived until Saturday at 12.00 WIB.
Government data shows that there have been 4,723 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This addition causes the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to currently reach 1.562.868, start from the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.
From the same data, in a day, it is known that there are an additional 3,629 Covid-19 patients who have recovered and are considered no longer infected with the coronavirus.
They were declared cured based on examination with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method which showed negative results for the coronavirus.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered has now reached 1,409,288 people since the start of the pandemic.
However, the government also still records that Covid-19 patients have died.
In the period of April 9 to 10, 95 Covid-19 patients died. Thus, the death rate due to Covid-19 in Indonesia now reached 42,443 people.
In addition to positive cases, it is known that there are 59,139 people who are currently suspected of being related to the transmission of the coronavirus. (*)
