UPDATE May 27: 5,034 New Covid-19 Cases Spread in 30 Provinces, Most in Riau
The government updated the information on the development of the daily Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, (5/26/2021).
Based on data shared by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Wednesday afternoon, 5,034 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded.
The data is calculated from 12.00 WIB Tuesday (5/25/2021) to Wednesday 12.00 WIB. So that accumulatively, there have been 1,791,221 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.
The number of additions was obtained from the results of examining 82,320 specimens in the last 24 hours.
Based on this data, new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are spread across 30 provinces.
There are 4 provinces that not report the additional daily positive cases, namely Southeast Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua.
From the same data, there were also five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.
The spread of Covid-19 as a whole to date has occurred in 510 districts/cities in 30 provinces.

Bangka Belitung: 271 new cases
Aceh: 267 new cases
East Java: 257 new cases
Riau Islands: 190 new cases
DIY: 190 new cases
South Sumatra: 159 new cases
West Kalimantan: 121 new cases
Central Kalimantan: 91 new cases
North Sumatra: 85 new cases
South Kalimantan: 82 new cases
