TRIBUNBATAM.id - The spread of the coronavirus in Indonesia has increased after the 2021 Eid holiday.
This can be seen from the number of daily cases, the death rate and the number of patients undergoing treatment at the hospital continues to grow.
Data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Tuesday (6/15/2021), showed the addition of 8,161 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
This addition causes the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia now reach 1,927,708 people, as of the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.
This data can be accessed by the public through the Covid19.go.id and Kemkes.go.id sites.
The same data shows that the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered has increased by 6,407 people.
Thus, the number of recovered patients to date has reached 1,757,641 people.
Then, the patient who died increased by 164 people.
Thus, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 is 53,280 people since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Task Force also recorded that there were 116,787 active cases of Covid-19.
Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the coronavirus, and are currently undergoing treatment in a hospital or self-isolation. (*)
