This can be seen from the daily cases of Covid-19, the death rate and the number of patients being treated in hospitals which are increasing day by day.
Data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force as of Saturday (6/19/2021) at 12.00 WIB showed that there were 12,906 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This addition causes the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to reach 1,976,172 people.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force to reporters on Saturday afternoon.
The same data shows that there are additional patients who recovered from Covid-19. In the last 24 hours, the number has increased by 7,016 people.
However, the number of patients who died after being exposed to Covid-19 also continued to grow. In the period June 18-19, 2021, there were 248 Covid-19 patients who died.
With this data, there are currently 135,738 active cases of Covid-19.
Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the coronavirus, and are undergoing treatment in a hospital or self-isolation. (*)
