Based on government data as of Wednesday, (7/28/2021) at 12.00 WIB, there were an addition of 47,791 people who had contracted Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
Thus, the number of patients infected with Covid-19 now stands at 3,287,727 as of March 2020.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force to reporters Wednesday afternoon.
This data can be accessed through the covid19.go.id which is updated every afternoon.
Active cases are the number of positive Covid-19 patients who are still undergoing treatment in hospital or in self-isolation.
Currently, Covid-19 cases have been recorded in 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces, from Aceh to Papua.
This means that the transmission of the coronavirus has been recorded in more than 99 percent of Indonesia's territory. (*)
