TRIBUNBATAM.id - Data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force showed the addition of 12,618 positive cases, on Friday (8/27/2021) at 12.00 noon.
The addition brings the total number of Covid-19 cases to 4,056,354 since the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.
Information regarding the development of Covid-19 cases can be accessed by the public through the https://covid19.go.id/peta-sebaran site.
Patient recovers and dies
Data from the Task Force also shows that 19,290 patients recovered from Covid-19 in a day. Thus, the total number of recovered cases to date has reached 3,689,256 people.
In addition, the number of patients who died increased by 599 people on August 26-27 2021. Thus, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 reached 130,781 people since the beginning of the pandemic.
With this data, there are currently 236,317 active cases of Covid-19.
Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the corona virus, and are undergoing treatment in a hospital or self-isolation.
In addition, the Task Force also noted that there were 250,014 people with suspect status. (*)
