TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Riau Islands Covid-19 Handling Task Force announced that all districts/cities in Riau Islands had the yellow zone status of Covid-19.

The yellow zone means an area with a low risk of Covid-19 transmission.

"Alhamdulillah, seven regencies in the Riau Islands have Covid-19 yellow zone status," said the Daily Chief of the Riau Islands Covid-19 Task Force, Lamidi, by telephone, Saturday (9/25/2021). 

Previously, said Lamidi, there were three areas in the orange zone. The three regions are Tanjungpinang City, Karimun Regency and Natuna Regency. 

There are 321 positive patients who are still being treated, 51,487 people recovered, and 1,739 people died. 

For additional cases on Saturday (9/25/2021), Lamidi said there were 20 people, in Batam 2 people, Tanjungpinang 7 people, Bintan Regency 1 person, Karimun Regency 5 people, and Natuna Regency 5 people. 

Likewise with recovered patients, Lamidi admitted there were 76 people consisting of 5 people in Batam, 16 people in Tanjungpinang, 32 people in Bintan Regency, 13 people in Karimun Regency, 4 people in Lingga Regency, 2 people in Natuna Regency and 4 people people in the Anambas Islands Regency. 

There are now 420,416 vials of vaccine stock left. 

In addition, Lamidi said, the achievement of vaccination in Riau Islands also continued to increase, namely the first dose reached 1,260,354 people or 79.72 percent, the second dose reached 792,852 people or 57.73 percent, and the third dose reached 9,545 people or 67.59 percent. 

Lamidi admitted that the current stock of vaccines is 420,416 doses of the total received 2,730,008 doses.
