TRIBUNBATAM.id, BALI - The Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park in Badung Regency, Bali, has been opened for tourist visits since Friday, (10/22/2021).

This tourist spot is only open on weekends, from Friday to Sunday at 10:00 to 18:00 WITA.

Previously, GWK was closed for several months since February 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition to the Covid-19 condition, another reason is the acceptance of foreign tourists through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Operational hours are subject to change

Operational hours at GWK Cultural Park may change depending on the situation.

GWK will be open on weekends or Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. If conditions improve, then the next two weeks will be open every day.

For tourists who want to visit, the management of GWK Cultural Park offers several admission ticket promos, one of which is on the spot entrance tickets starting from IDR 85,000 per person.

Meanwhile, tourists who have a Balinese identity card can get a special price, which is IDR 60,000 per person or IDR 200,000 per four people.

The GWK Cultural Center is home to a 121-meter-high statue by Nyoman Nuarta.

The process of building the statue took 28 years.

In addition, the GWK Cultural Center area also has many photo spots, places to watch Balinese arts, cafes, and restaurants.
