TRIBUNBATAM.id, YOGYAKARTA -- A total of 135 tourist attractions in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) were officially opened and allowed to operate, in line with the policy for the Implementation of Level 2 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). 

The head of the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) Tourism Office (Dispar), Singgih Raharjo, said that the 135 tourist spots that were open during PPKM level 2 had already pocketed the QR Code for the Care Protect application. 

"For the total there are 135 in 4 districts of tourist attractions that are already operating and there is already a QR Code PeduliLindung. Those places are includes the beaches and it's starting to open with strict protocols," he said, Monday, (8/11/2021). 

Singgih continued, tourist attractions must meet the requirements before being allowed to open. One of the requirements is to have received a QR Code for the PeduliLindung application. 

In addition, the Yogyakarta Tourism Office asked the public to use the Visiting Jogja application to make reservations and non-cash payments. 

Singgih said that the capacity of tourist sites is still limited during the implementation of PPKM level 2. The limit is 25 percent maximum of the total capacity of tourist destinations.
