TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) is preparing assistance entitled Government Assistance for Tourism Business (BPUP) for tourism industry players.
This assistance is aimed at small and medium scale tourism businesses registered with the OSS (Online Single Submission) of the Ministry of Investment/BKPM in 2018-2020.
In addition, according to the Kemenparekraf website, these businessmen haven't received government program assistance at the Kemenparekraf.
"There are six types of businesses, namely travel agencies, spas, hotels, homestays, and other accommodation providers that will receive government assistance for tourism businesses. Especially, during the implementation of PPKM Level 3 (simultaneously during Christmas and New Year Celebrations).
They really need this assistance," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno during the Weekly Press Briefing, Monday (11/22/2021).
The registered businessmen will receive funds of IDR 1.8 million.
Registration has been opened on November 15-26, 2021 through the bpup page. kemenparekraf.go.id.
