International Route Opened, Ferry from Tanjungpinang to Singapore-Malaysia back in Operation

TRIBUNBATAM.id - After stopping operations for two years due to the pandemic, the international ferry from Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands (Kepri) is now back in operation.
Since Saturday (4/9), the ferry from the port of Sri Bintan Pura Tanjungpinang to Singapore has been operating.
Then, on Sunday (4/10), the ferry bound for Malaysia departed from the Sri Bintan Pura International port.
A total of 16 passengers departed for Singapore on Saturday (4/9).
15 of them are Indonesian citizens and one is a Singaporean.
Meanwhile, the number of passengers to Malaysia amounted around 40 people.
Passengers from Riau Islands to Singapore only need to bring a negative antigen test result.
Currently, the international port that is still not operating is the Tanjungbalai Karimun International Port.
The operation of the international ferry port in Karimun Regency is because it's still waiting for a Circular from the Immigration Office.
The government has also opened two airports in Riau Islands as international entry points.
The two airports are Batam's Hang Nadim International Airport and Tanjungpinang's Raja Haji Fisabilillah (RHF) Airport.
