TRIBUNBATAM.id - Industry and Trade Department (Disperindag) in Batam City will regulate and reorganize traders around Welcome to Batam area or at the Haji Dormitory.
The rearrangement was triggered by cleanliness around location of the traders selling their goods.
"In near future we will call related parties and we will reorganize this culinary tourism in front of Welcome to Batam" Gustian Riau said on Sunday (9/29/2019).

"Based on information from citizens, there are lot of foods waste there, so tourists find it disturbing," Gustian said.
Gustian also revealed that his party will be observe to this culinary tourism site Welcome to Batam on Monday (9/30/2019)
"Insyaallah, on Monday we will go down to the field for check and we call which ones that need to fix, we tidy up and empty it, so they can become an interesting icon for Batam City," Gustian said.
Gustian also revealed, the arrangement will be same as TPID market which is placed in Niaga Mas market as the second floor market which is made a culinary tour.
"We have already cooperated with Ok Oce for the arrangement concept because we have done it in TPID market, then we will confirm to land owner how long the land could be used. So there investments in long time period, not by landowners," Gustian said.
The purposes of cleanliness and neatness in this area because to keep Welcome to Batam as one of tourist destinations.
