Hotspots in KEPRI was Extinguished, Tomorrow Kepri Region Predicted in Local Rain

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  Head of Data and Information of the Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Department (BMKG) Meteorology Station Class I Hang Nadim, Suratman confirmed that the hotspots in Kepri region were gone. 

This is inseparable from the rain that occurred in Batam and several other areas in Kepri over the past few days.

"Certainly already extinguished. Because indeed the conditions of the intense rain helped to extinguish the fire. And the dry leaves become moist and not flammable," he said, Friday (04/10/2019) morning. 

For Indonesia, there are currently 34 hotspots.

It's just not fierce like in the previous days. Like in Riau, Jambi and Palembang.

Meanwhile, for the weather forecast Saturday (05/10/2019) tomorrow, local rain will occur.

Forecaster on duty, Riza Juniarti explained, the presence of shearlines and the high value of upper layer air humidity in Kepri region.

"In general, tomorrow's weather conditions are expected to be cloudy and there is potential for local rain with mild to moderate intensity that can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds," he said. (tribunbatam.id/leo Halawa)
