TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Riau Islands (Kepri) Provincial Government finally set the minimum wage for work (UMK) for all regencies and cities throughout the Riau Islands.
Head of the Kepri Manpower and Transmigration Department, Mangara Simarmata, said that from the determination of the UMK in the regencies / cities in Riau Islands, it is known that the highest was in Batam and the lowest was in Tanjungpinang.
"Of the seven urban districts in the Riau Islands, Batam has the highest UMK and Tanjung Pinang has the lowest," said Mangara by telephone, Tuesday (11/24/2020).
Based on Governor Decree No. 1362/2020 dated November 20, 2020, the UMK Batam value is Rp 4,150,930.
Then, UMK Tanjungpinang was determined through Governor Decree No. 1363/2020 dated November 20, 2020, amounting to Rp 3,013,012.

Furthermore, the Bintan UMK was determined through Governor Decree No. 1364/2020 on 20 November 2020, amounting to Rp 3,648,714.
"UMK Lingga was determined through Governor Decree No. 365 of 2020 on 20 November 2020, amounting to Rp 3,036,220," said Mangara.
Then, UMK Karimun was determined through Governor Decree No. 1366/2020 on November 20, 2020, which was Rp 3,335,902.
UMK Anambas determined based on Governor Decree No. 1367 of 2020 on 20 November 2020, amounting to Rp 3,501,441
"Finally, the UMK Natuna was determined through Governor Decree No. 1368/2020 on November 20, 2020, amounting to Rp 3,106,975, and we hope all parties can accept it," Mangara concluded. (*)
