TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of new Covid-19 cases has again recorded the highest addition, starting from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
Based on data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force from Saturday (6/26/2021) to Sunday (6/27/2021), there were 21,342 additional positive Covid-19 patients.
Previously, a record addition of Covid-19 cases also occurred on June 26, 2021, which amounted to 21,095 people within 24 hours.
Thus, the number of patients infected with Covid-19 in Indonesia now reached 2,115,304 people since the first case was announced on March 2 last year.
The information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Sunday afternoon.
In addition, in the period of June 26-27, 8,024 recovered patients were recorded.
Thus, the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 now stands at 1,850,481 people.
However, the number of patients who died from Covid-19 in Indonesia is still growing.
In the same period, the addition of patients who died as many as 409 people.
Thus, the total number of patients who have died from Covid-19 is now 57,138. (*)
