TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Retail global clothing company from Japan, UNIQLO officially opened its first store in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, today, on Friday September/6/2019.
UNIQLO, which carries the LifeWear model, is a high-quality clothing brand that underlies in every individual style, like for men, women, children or even babies, that inspired by Japanese values of minimalism, quality, and durability.
This latest store is present at Grand Batam Mall which located on the 1st and 2nd Floor with an area of 2,000 square meters.
The President Director of PT Fast Retailing Indonesia (UNIQLO Indonesia), Naoki Kamogawa said about the presence of UNIQLO in Batam City will increasingly expanding the exposure of products and services in all regions in Indonesia, especially in Kepulauan Riau.
"UNIQLO has been basically known by the citizen of Batam, even though they might be bought it abroad previously. The presence of our store in Batam will bring our UNIQLO LifeWear products to get closer to the local citizen," he said.
UNIQLO offers their products to the public that make the appearance looks attractive while still being comfortable in their own UNIQLO style.
"Our clothes are designed carefully which represent the simplicity, beauty and quality," he added.
UNIQLO Indonesia's Marketing Director, Daniel Pieter in his welcome said that UNIQLO currently has more than 2 thousand stores in 22 markets in the World.
"For Indonesia, we previously opened in total of 26 shops and Batam is our 27th store. Overall, our stores are spreading across in 9 cities in Indonesia," he continued.
During the opening period, there will be a limited number of exclusive tumblers for the customers in a minimum purchase of IDR 500 thousands. The offering is valid for one day only during of the Grand Opening if supplies last.
