Batam Bright! 2000 Street Lights Will Be Distributed

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -   Batam still needs around 25 thousand public street lights (PJU). 

Deputy Mayor of Batam Amsakar Achmad said, Batam as a developing area and lot of emerging new settlements, so it requires a lot of PJU lights. 

With the Bright Indonesia program realized in Bengkong District, Batam City Government has been greatly helped. 

Through the Bright Indonesia program initiated by PT. Inza Rizki Jaya, Batam received 2000 ration of lights. 

A total of 2000 PJU points will be installed in Bengkong District and distributed in four villages. 

Amsakar said the program was welcomed by the community in Bengkong District. 

He hopes that the end of the year this work can be completed and can be immediately felt by all residents.

Four village in Bengkong Subdistricts that received PJU allocations, namely Tanjung Buntung, Bengkong Sadai, Bengkong Laut and Bengkong Indah. 

The launching of the 40 Watt PLTS-PJU LED was marked by the ignition of solar powered PJU lights by the Director of PT Inza Rizki Jaya, Rizayanti along with Deputy Mayor of Batam. 

The Indonesia Bright Program aims to open the access to lighting for the people throughout Indonesia, especially in the rural areas. For this program, PT Inza Rizki Jaya is working with partners from Korea, Japan, Abudabi and Saudi. 

This year the program will be implemented in 32 regencies / cities throughout Indonesia. (Wie)
