Transfering 14 Tons Fame Oil, PS 5001 Ship Secured in Batam Kabil Waters

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  Special Task Force (Satgassus) RI Trisula Bakamla secures Oil ship under the name of PS 5001.

The ship was secured by Bintang Laut State Ship (KN) - 401 in Kabil waters.

The Ps 5001 oil ship was secured by Satgassus while transferring the Fame-type fuel oil (Bahan Bakar Minyak), in Kabil waters, Batam, Kepri, on Tuesday night (9/24/2019).

Head of Sub-Division Indonesian Bakamla Public Relations Lt. Col. Bakamla Mardiono, said on Friday (9/26/2019) that the PS 5001 ship that was anchored in the waters of Kabil was moving the fuel to the tugboat with the initials GS 88.

"The Ps 5001 Oil ship that we are safeguarding was not equipped the documents," Mardiono said.

He explained that currently, the floating barge PS 5001, GS 88 tugboat, and MTP tugboat were carrying out an ad hoc process to the Container Port, Batu Ampar, Batam.

Currently the ship is being examined by the Bakamla RI Law Enforcement Unit Team (UPH) which will then be submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for processing according to the applicable law. (Tribunbatam.id/Ian Sitanggang)
