Santika Hotel Expansion to Batam, Prioritizing Service and Local Culture

Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resort in collaboration with PT Multi Daya Samaya also participated in advancing Batam City from the tourism sector by building Santika Hotel Batam located at Batam Center.

On Friday (4/10), thanksgiving was held as a sign of the start of construction project at Santika Hotel Batam.

Director of PT Multi Daya Samaya, Muljadi Djaja said that Batam Santika Hotel construction project was planned to be completed in less than 6 months.

The plan, Hotel Santika will be Soft Opening in May 2020.

"We chose Santika Indonesia as our partner, because Santika is known for its expertise in promoting local wisdom. We want local wisdom from Batam to be presumed in hospitality industry, "Muljadi said, Friday (4/10).

Meanwhile, Vice GM of Santika Indonesia Hotel & Resorts Project, Heri Kuncoro also acknowledged that Batam's condition is currently in good condition.

"Batam business is currently good, so we want to increase our network in this city," he said.

Heri said, there were a number of things that made Santika Hotel able to attract visitors amid the rise of hotels in Batam.

"If we are certain in terms of service or hospital number one. Beside that we also strengthen in terms of food with Indonesian flavor, "said Heri.

Batam Santika Hotel will later become a 3 star hotel that has 136 rooms with 3 types of rooms namely Superior, Deluxe and Suite.

The hotel will also be equipped with other facilities such as meeting rooms, restaurants, gyms and swimming pools.

Batam Santika Hotel Project is not the only Santika Hotel project currently underway, but there are also other projects such as Santika Bukit Tinggi Hotel in Padang, Pasuruan Santika Hotel, Bima Santika Hotel, Lampung Santika Hotel and many more.
