Two ships worth Rp. 86 billion is targeted to be submitted to the Navy in November 2019. The target is faster than the contract agreement, namely in December 2019.
Commissioner of PT Steadfast Marine Tbk, Eddy Kurniawan Logam said, after being launched, the two ships will enter the trial phase and the final completion process is scheduled to last for 1.5 months.
For this reason, the ships are targeted to be delivered by the end of November 2019.
"The second contract of the ship was signed in January 2019. We are optimistic that by the end of November 2019 we can submit it," said Eddy in his written statement, Friday (10/18/2019).
Eddy added, his side tried as much as possible so that the two ships were done with good quality and fast time. By doing so, it is hoped that the Indonesian Navy will re-order the ship to its company.
In building the two ships, said Eddy, his party sought to increase local content.
In his notes, the waterproof doors, interior parts, and cables for the two ships are powered by each 1,900 horse power, and that are uses the products which made in domestically.
"For these two ships, we are trying to increase the local content," said Eddy. (*)
