TRIBUNBATAM.id - North Sumatra Deputy Chief of Police (Wakapolda) Brigadier General (Pol) Mardiaz Kusin said, the RMN who was suspected of being a suicide bomber at Medan Police Headquarters changed his attitude within six months.

That was based on the information from RMN's in-laws when questioned by the police.

According to RMN's parents-in-law, the son-in-law had not been seen to be radical.

"In just six months he has changed," Mardiaz said when met on Thursday (11/14/2019).

After the suicide bombing at Mapolrestabes Medan, the police conducted the crime scene.

The police also visited five houses, starting from the houses on Jalan Jangka, Marelan, and Belawan.

The police also obtained important information from the examination conducted.

Mardiaz said, in the examination carried out, RMN's wife conveyed the existence of certain study groups.

However, the police have not been able to directly suspect it as a radical group. The police are still deepening. 

Mardiaz said the search was carried out in a number of houses suspected of being the perpetrators' house or suspected to have been a place of "recitation".

Meanwhile, on the perpetrators' motorcycle that was left in front of the Medan Mapolrestabes, several items were found, including two 22 caliber bullets.

Reported earlier, RMN was found dead tragically with severe injuries in the abdomen in the Medan Maporlestabes yard on Wednesday morning. (*)
