Now the Milk Coffee Franchise is Becoming More and More Rampant, How Long Will it Last?

TRIBUNBATAM.id - In the past year, the milk coffee franchise business is flourishing in Indonesia. If you can say, almost in every alley in the capital can be found one to two milk coffee outlets.

By offering prices ranging from Rp. 15,000 to Rp. 25,000, the milk coffee outlets only serve direct purchases or through delivery services such as Gofood or Grabfood. 

Then how long will this coffee business trend continue to grow?

Honorary Chairperson of the Indonesian Franchise Association (AFI), Anang Sukandar estimates, there will be a time when the coffee milk business will adopt the concept of a franchise or the franchise is entering the saturation phase.

According to him, natural selection will occur and only players who have first appeared and eventually have a large business scale can survive. 

He also said, at least it took 3 to 5 years to be able to see the perpetrators who would survive in this milk coffee business.

He predicts, there will be 15 percent of all players who can survive in the market. 

In addition to the coffee business, according to Anang, another business prospect that is currently booming and will experience the natural selection is the healthy food business.

However, he considered, the price range of products in that business is too expensive. (*)
