Ciputra Dies, CTRA's Shares Move in the Green Zone

TRIBUNBATAM.id - PT Ciputra Development Tbk's founder, Ir Ciputra, died on Wednesday (11/27/2019) in the early morning in Singapore.

Even though its founder passed away, CTRA-coded issuer's shares moved verdant at the start of stock trading this morning.

Citing Bloomberg, CTRA shares at 9.30 West Indonesia Time opened 5 points higher at 1,015 per share, up 0.50 percent compared to Tuesday's closing of 1,010 per share.

Previously, CTRA profit until the third quarter of 2019, fell 12.71 percent to Rp 465.66 billion, while at the end of 2018 it was Rp 533.52 billion.

CTRA revenue also fell 0.74 percent to Rp 4.65 trillion. However, there were contributors who helped the issuer's revenue not decrease significantly, namely net office sales which rose 1.58 percent to Rp 334.76 billion, and plot sales rose 100.69 percent to Rp 160.91 billion. 

Meanwhile, CTRA's total assets also rose slightly, by 3.51 percent to Rp 35.49 trillion from the previous Rp 34.29 trillion.

Ciputra is a company engaged in the property sector in various regions in Indonesia. Currently, one of the development projects that has been developed on a large scale is Citra Maja Raya in Banten. (*)
