Prevent Corona Virus Entering Batam, Shenzhen Flights to Batam are Stopped

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Flights from Shenzhen, China to Batam have been stopped.

The head of the Batam Business Entity (BP Batam), Muhammad Rudi said, the flight stop was a decision from China travel. 

"Just contacted the Head of the Airport, Director of Batam Hang Nadim Airport Business Agency, Suwarso, that flights from China to Batam were stopped. The stop was from travel in China, so it was not from us," Rudi told media crews at Hajj Dormitory, Monday (Monday). 1/27/2020).

The plan, the return of tourists from China to their home countries will be done today, Tuesday (1/28/2020).

This is a form of anticipation of the spread of the coronavirus in Batam. 

Rudi doesn't know how long the flight stops.

He hopes that if the corona virus problem is over, his side will open the flights again. 

Rudi also claimed to be grateful, without the decision of the regional head in Batam, China finally stopped flights to Batam. So there is no need for the Government to issue a policy.

Director of Batam Hang Nadim Airport Business Agency, Suwarso, confirmed that the flight was stopped on Monday (1/27/2020).

"That's right. Starting tomorrow it has been stopped. The stop is from the tour and travel agents from  China," he told the media crew.

In addition, Suwarso also said, some tourists from China in Batam will also be repatriated to their home countries.
