Negative Corona, 6 Ship Crew back in Their Activity, KKP Batam Awaits Lab Results for 6 more Crew

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  12 ship crew members (ABK) who were observed in relation to Covid-19, were generally all in good health.

Head of Batam Class 1 Port Health Department (KKP) Ahmad Farchanny, said six of them had been declared negative by the Corona virus through laboratory test results. 

The Six ship crew (ABK) can now be active as usual, without having to go through special supervision. 

Farchanny added, after undergoing a period of observation for 14 days, 6 laboratory test results from the 12 crew members were declared free from Covid-19.

Waiting for lab results is still carried out to ensure safety, even though the observation period matches with the incubation period of the virus for 14 days. 

The remaining 6 crew members are still being observed on board and still waiting for the laboratory results.
