Tighten Health Protocol, Garuda Flight from Jakarta to Batam Has No Passengers

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Commercial aviation activities at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport began to run following the Government's policy of providing leeway for airlines.

This is based on Circular Letter (SE) Number 4 of 2020 concerning Criteria for Limiting Travel for Persons in Order to Accelerate Handling of Covid-19.

Director of Batam Hang Nadim Airport Business Agency and BP Batam Information Technology Suwarso on Saturday (05/09/2020) when confirmed said, for Saturday there were five flight activities at Hang Nadim Airport.

"For passenger planes there are Garuda flights to Jakarta, Citilink with destinations to Jakarta and Batam to Surabaya, while for cargo planes there are 2, namely Garuda and Sriwijaya and both to Jakarta," he said.

Suwarso said that Garuda flight from Jakarta to Batam was empty, while the departure was filled by 37 people.

While the Citilink airline from Jakarta transports 2 people and for Batam-Jakarta transports 5 people.

Citilink who came from Surabaya brought 3 people while for Batam departure to Surabaya brought 2 people.
