Health Facilities Quick Response, Key of Success of East Lampung Zero from Corona Case

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The status of East Lampung, which is still zero in the positive confirmed cases of the coronavirus, is claimed to be an example of effective coordination in handling Covid-19 in the regions.

Head of the East Lampung Health Department, Nanang Salman Saleh said, once the coronavirus emergency response period was put in place, the local government through a task force team immediately built a structured coordination scheme.

"What we are doing is the same as in other districts. It's just that, we are trying to streamline the coordination that has been built," Nanang said when contacted on Wednesday (06/10/2020). 

The flow of coordination said Nanang, namely from the village government to the district, and then empties into the district.

However, there are different conditions in the coordination flow, namely that in each channel there are volunteers with the "pick up the ball" system.

Nanang said, the "pick up the ball" system was one way for the handling of the suspected coronavirus to be directly detected.

"Coordination with efforts to respond quickly," said Nanang. 

With this rapid response, especially the community health center (Puskesmas), information about Covid-19, ranging from travelers to symptomatic people can be immediately handled.

For example, Insiders Monitoring (ODP), said Nanang, whose progress is being monitored on a daily basis.

So, when the ODP shows a symptom, by the health facility where the ODP is recorded, for example in the Puskesmas, the ODP is immediately treated at Sukadana Hospital until healed.

The patient data is then directly forwarded to the district level.
