Covid-19 Swab Test Results for Mayor of Batam, HM Rudi Stated Negative

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Mayor of Batam, Muhammad Rudi spoke up related to the results of Swab Test he did on Monday (3/8/2020).

Rudi expressed gratitude, because the results of Swab Test he immediately obtained stated that he was negative Covid-19.

The test was carried out on Monday morning at 08.00 WIB, together with four echelon 2 officials, at his residence.

"I did two rapid tests, the results were non-reactive. There was also no physical problem. But because many people continued to question, I finally called BTKLPP for a Swab Test. Thank God the results were negative," said Rudi.

Rudi explained, at first, on Tuesday (07/28/2020), he had attended event in Tanjungpinang.

Two days later, news emerged that Governor of Riau Islands aide, confirmed positive Covid-19.

"The Governor's news was positive. I have conveyed it to those who attended the event, please check the condition of each body," said Rudi.

After that, on Sunday (2/8/2020), Rudi also had to undergo two rapid test examinations, both of which obtained negative results.

Even though he did not feel any significant health symptoms, he still underwent a Swab Test, with also negative results.

Batam Mayor Swab Test results, Muhammad Rudi immediately came out on the same day, namely on Monday afternoon.

According to Rudi, the results of Swab Test were quickly known, because it was classified as an emergency PCR test.

"If it is an emergency, I think there is a priority. I will test it with four other officials, so that it can be played immediately," Rudi explained.

In addition, in one turn PCR test only takes about 5 to 6 hours.
