TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of suspected Covid-19 cases in Indonesia reached 85,928 people on Tuesday (11/8/2020).
This refers to the official data of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force.
The Task Force noted that there were additional cases of 1,789 people with suspected Covid-19 status.
Referring to the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 413/2020 concerning Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), suspect is a substitute term for patients under surveillance (PDP).
A person is called a suspected Covid-19 if they have an acute respiratory infection (ISPA), and in the last 14 days before symptoms appear, have a travel history or live in a country / region of Indonesia that reports local transmission.
The term suspect also refers to people with one of the symptoms of ISPA and in the last 14 days before symptoms develop, they have history of contact with a confirmed / probable Covid-19 case.
Or, people with severe ISPA / severe pneumonia who require hospitalization and no other cause based on a convincing clinical picture.
The addition of Covid-19 patients on August 11 reached 1,693 people. This figure was obtained from 13,513 people who were examined in the last 24 hours. Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients in Indonesia reached 128,776 people.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 patients who recovered on August 11 increased to 1,474 people. This brings the total number of recovered patients to 83,710.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 positive patients who died on August 11 increased to 59 people. This refers to the official report from the government. Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died was 5,824 people. (*)
