UPDATE: Increasing 3,989, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia Reaches 244,676

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been going on for more than six months, however, until now there have been no signs of the government's success in controlling the transmission of the coronavirus.

Until today, Sunday (20/9/2020), the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus is still ongoing, so the number of Covid-19 cases continues to grow.

Based on data as of Sunday at 12.00 WIB, in a day, there are still a high number of Covid-19 patients, nearly 4,000 people.

There were an additional 3,989 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases to 244,676 people. 

The total cases counted since the announcement of the first Covid-19 patient on March 2, 2020.

This information was updated by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through data submitted to journalists on Sunday afternoon.

Data can also be accessed via the Covid19.go.id website, which is updated every afternoon. 

Even though the number of Covid-19 cases is increasing, the government is raising hope by announcing that more patients are recovering after being infected with the corona virus.

In a day, there were an additional 2,977 Covid-19 patients who were now considered recovered. (*)
