The Distribution of New Covid-19 Cases in 31 Provinces, Jakarta is Still The Highest

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  Covid-19 transmission continues to occur in Indonesia. Covid-19 has infected people in 34 provinces and 500 districts and cities.

Based on data from the Covid-19 Task Force released on Sunday, (18/10/2020), DKI Jakarta is the province with the highest number of new cases, with 974 cases.

Followed by West Java with the addition of 500 cases and West Sumatra with the addition of 450 new cases. Furthermore, Central Java with the addition of 416 new cases and Riau with the addition of 256 new cases. 

New cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia on Sunday afternoon increased by 4,105 people. Thus, the number of Covid-19 patients in Indonesia has reached 361,867 people.

Meanwhile, Covid-19 patients who recovered increased by 3,732 people. Total patients recovered reached 285,324 people. This makes the cure rate for Covid-19 patients in Indonesia to reach 78.85 percent.

The Covid-19 Task Force still delivers sad news with the addition of 80 Covid-19 patients who died in the last 24 hours. Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died reached 12,511 people.

1. DKI Jakarta: 974 new cases

2. West Java: 500 new cases

3. West Sumatra: 450 new cases

4. Central Java: 416 new cases.

5. Riau: 256 new cases

6. East Java: 238 new cases

7. East Kalimantan: 197 new cases
