Kepulauan Seribu Regent: Sriwijaya Air Plane Crashed around Laki Island

The Regent of Kepulauan Seribu, Djunaedi, said that the Sriwijaya Air plane for the Jakarta-Pontianak route crashed around Laki Island.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Regent of Kepulauan Seribu, Djunaedi, said that the Sriwijaya Air plane for the Jakarta-Pontianak route crashed around Laki Island

According to Djunaedi, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, around 14.30 WIB. 

Djunaedi stated that he received the information from the local urban village. 

From the urban village, he received information that a fisherman had seen a fire explosion from the scene of the incident, then asked local residents for help.

Previously reported, the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 plane on the Jakarta-Pontianak route was suspected of having lost contact. 

According to the Head of Basarnas Public Relations Subdivision, Yusuf Latif, his party will provide further information later. 

"Meanwhile, it is still suspected (lost contact)" said Yusuf, when contacted, Saturday (9/1). 

Meanwhile, the Manager of Airnav Indonesia's Public Relations, Yohanes Sirait, when asked for confirmation on Saturday (9/1/2021) said that his party was still waiting for the Ministry of Transportation to convey this matter. (*)
