Apart from the FDR, there is also a cockpit voice recorder (CVR) in a black box. CVR is a tool that records the conversation between the pilot and the copilot while in the cockpit.

FDR records all important flight data. The data is in the form of time, aircraft altitude, aircraft speed, direction, aircraft conditions, wind speed during flight, and vertical acceleration.
Then the magnetic header, wheel position, horizontal stabilizer, fuel flow, and all the indicators on the plane. FDR can record 25 hours of flight data.
Later, through these data stored in FDR, the investigation team can analyze the causes of accidents and anticipate similar incidents on other flights.
Meanwhile, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said that currently the joint SAR team is still searching for CVR, which is also part of the plane's black box.
The TNI Commander is optimistic that the CVR will soon be found because the signal transmitted through the CVR beacon has been found. (*)
