Forest and Land Fires in Bintan, Task Force Team takes 3 Hours to Put Out Fire in Masiran Village
Karhutla in Bintan took place in Masiran Village, Gunung Kijang Village, Gunung Kijang District, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province, Saturday 23/1.
As a result of the fire, at least 4 hectares of forest and land were scorched by fire.
In the process of extinguishing the fire, the Toapaya Karhutla Task Force team, which consisted of the Gunung Kijang Police and the Toapaya Damkar UPTD, had difficulty getting to the location of the hotspot.
The Toapaya Karhutla Task Force Team received reports from residents on Saturday (23/1) afternoon, at around 18.00 WIB.
Although the fire was successfully extinguished, it is not certain what caused the forest and land fires in Masiran Village.
It is known that the Karhutla in Bintan is the first case in early 2021.
The socialization was carried out by visiting a number of people in Gunung Kijang District.
The head of the Gunung Kijang Police, AKP Monang said, this socialization activity was carried out considering that the cases of forest and land fires in the Gunung Kijang District Police area have recently occurred frequently.
In fact, it is known that if there is an element of deliberate burning of forests and land, it will deal with the law.
