TRIBUNBATAM.id, RIAU ISLANDS  - Today, Tuesday (2/3/2021) even 1 year of the Corona pandemic still haunts Indonesia, especially in the Riau Islands Province.  

Based on data received by Tribun Batam through the Covid-19 and economic recovery Task Force in Riau Islands on March 1, 2021, here are the Covid-19 updates in Riau Islands. 

There are currently 156 active cases of Covid-19, 8,714 confirmed cases, while 8,336 patients have recovered, and 221 people have died.

2. Tanjungpinang City in the orange zone

-Confirmed: 1,394
-Active cases: 29
-Recover: 1,337
-Death: 28

3. Bintan Regency in the orange zone

-Confirmed: 681
- Active cases: 48
-Recover: 616
-Death: 17

4. Karimun Regency in the yellow zone

-Confirmed: 421
-Active cases: 5

-Death: 18

5. Lingga Regency in the yellow zone

Looking at the comparative chart of the development of Covid-19 in Riau Islands from February 1 to March 1, 2021, there has been an increase in the presentation. 

Active cases increased by 1.79 percent, patients died by 2.54 percent, and patients recovered by 95.67 percent.
