TRIBUNBATAM.id -  Rain with light to moderate intensity has the potential to occur in the Riau Islands region on Monday (22/3/2021).

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Department (BMKG) predicts that this condition can occur due to the finding of high humidity levels around the Riau Islands region.

This condition supports the formation of rain clouds.

Meanwhile, rain with moderate intensity is expected to occur at one o'clock the next day in Batam City.

"In general, tomorrow's weather conditions are predicted to have light to moderate rain throughout the Riau Islands," explained Riau Islands BMKG Forcast on Duty, Aprilia, in a statement received by Tribunbatam.id, Sunday (21/3/2021).

BMKG Kepri also reminded the public to always be vigilant in marine activities.

This is because the potential for sea waves is estimated to be quite high, reaching about 2.5 meters in Anambas waters.

In addition, waves of 3.5 meters are also predicted to occur in Natuna waters, and waves as high as 4 meters in the North Natuna Sea.
