WEATHER FORECAST: BMKG Asks Anambas Residents to be Alert of Potential Extreme Weather

TRIBUNBATAM.id, ANAMBAS, RIAU ISLANDS - The Class III of Tarempa Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Department (BMKG) asked Anambas residents to be aware of the potential for extreme weather. 

BMKG Tarempa predicts the potential for light to moderate rain which can be accompanied by lightning and thunder accompanied by strong winds. 

This condition is expected to occur from Sunday (7/4) morning until evening. 

Meanwhile, the wave height in Anambas waters is predicted to be normal. Where, for the northern region of Anambas, the wave height reaches 0.5 meters-1.25 meters, and the southern area of Anambas reaches 0.5 meters - 1.25 meters. 

Then, the air temperature shows 25 degrees celsius to 33 degrees celsius, with air humidity of 65-95 percent, and air speeds reaching 30 kilometers per hour. 

"This weather condition will last from morning to evening, starting from cloudy weather conditions to rain with light intensity," said the Head of Tarempa BMKG, Sirajul Munir to the Tribunbatam.id Reporter.
