The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is still not under control. This can be seen from the high number of new cases and death rates.

Data compiled by the government as of Friday, (7/23/2021) at 12.00 WIB shows that there have been 49,071 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The number was obtained after the government conducted an examination of 274,246 specimens in a day.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force to reporters on Friday afternoon.
The same data also shows that there were an additional 38,988 recovered patients due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
Thus, the number of recovered Covid patients in Indonesia to date has reached 2,431,911.
However, the number of patients who died after being exposed to Covid-19 also continued to grow.
In the period July 22-23, there were 1,566 Covid-19 patients who died.
Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the coronavirus, and are undergoing treatment in a hospital or self-isolation. (*)
