PPKM Level 2-4 in Java-Bali Extended until August 23, 2021
The government decided to extend the 'Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities' or called (PPKM) Levels 2-4 in Java and Bali.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government decided to extend the 'Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities' or called (PPKM) Levels 2-4 in Java and Bali.
The extension of PPKM Level 2-4 will be carried out until August 23, 2021.
This policy was announced by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, as the coordinator of the Java-Bali PPKM, on Monday night.
"PPKM levels 4, 3, and 2 in Java-Bali have been extended until August 23, 2021," said Luhut.
According to Luhut, there are a number of regions that have experienced changes in levels in Java and Bali.
There are an additional eight regions that enter level 3, bringing a total of 61 regencies/cities that are categorized as level 2 and 3 in Java and Bali.
"Regarding this decision, it will be stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs in detail," said Luhut.
This PPKM policy is carried out to reduce the rate of transmission of the corona virus that causes the Covid-19 pandemic. This pandemic has lasted for more than 500 days.
Meanwhile, PPKM Level 4 was previously implemented during July 21-25, which was extended to July 26-August 2, 2021.
Then this policy continue until August 3 to 9, and August 10 to 16, 2021.
So far, the government has implemented the PPKM policy in dealing with the spread of Covid-19.
The PPKM, which was previously called 'Large-Scale Social Restrictions' (PSBB), has undergone a number of changes, especially regulations related to activity and mobility restrictions. (*)
