UPDATE: Positive Cases of Covid-19 Increase by 3.145 People, Patients Recover 14.633 People

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Positive cases of the corona virus (Covid-19) increased by 3,145 today, Thursday (9/16). This addition brings the total positive cases of the coronavirus in Indonesia to 4,181,309 since the beginning of March 2020.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, of the total positive cases, 3,968,152 of them have recovered. The number of recovered patients increased by 14,633 from the previous day. 

Meanwhile, as many as 139,919 other people died. Patients who died after being infected with the corona virus increased by 237 people from yesterday. 

Then active cases or patients who were hospitalized or self-isolated fell by 11,725 people, bringing it to 73,238. This number decreased drastically compared to July 2021. The specimens examined were 99,130 samples. 

The coronavirus pandemic has been hit Indonesia for more than a year. The highest spike in cases occurred a few weeks after Eid 2021 or last July. Currently, positive cases are starting to decline, both new positive cases of Covid-19 and patients who have died. 

Various restrictions on community activities in level 4 areas still apply. 

These include working from home (WFH) 100 percent for the non-essential sector, online schools, places to eat open until 8:00 pm, with a maximum meal time of 30 minutes, and malls closed. Places of worship are open but only at 50 percent of capacity. (*)
