TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Besides Bali, two other tourist destinations in Indonesia, namely Batam and Bintan, will also be reopened for foreign tourists (tourists) starting October 14, 2021.

"I also want to convey an update that Bali and several other destinations, such as Batam and Bintan, will be tested on October 14 (2021)," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno.

He made this statement at a press conference at the Accor Indonesia event entitled "Batik Nusantara Celebration" at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta, Sunday (10/10/2021).

Even so, in the Weekly Press Briefing, Monday (11/10/2021), he said that there was a possibility that the quarantine could be shortened to 4-5 days based on the proposals received.

However, Sandiaga reiterated that the quarantine period mentioned wasn't a final decision and was currently being discussed further.
